The AV2 GROUP Demining Apron is a recent development to meet the demand for equipment specifically designed for Mine clearance work.

The Apron offers maximum coverage whilst keeping flexibility and light weight a priority.

Feature

• Covers all major areas of the body that could be life threatening if damaged
• A one piece garment that consists of a full body torso with cumber band to ensure back is supported.
• The apron affords the same protection to the front of the legs which can be folded and fastened by Velcro to the waist.
• Weighs approx. 8 to 9 kgs
• V50 450m/s (1.1gm steel ball fragments which it can contain at a velocity of 450 mtrs / Sec)

Bomb Blanket gives emergency protection against blasts and fragments in the event of an explosive device detonating before it can be neutralized. It is quick and effective against most pipe bombs, hand grenades and fragments caused by pressure or electrical explosions.
